William Banks, MHA

William Banks is an Adjunct Instructor for the Master of Health Administration program. He primarily serves as the VP, Managed care/ Revenue Cycle for St. Elizabeth Healthcare in No. KY – a 1,200 bed, 300 physician multi-site healthcare system sponsored by the Diocese of Covington. In this role, he is responsible for payor relations and the negotiation of all contracts for facility, professional and ancillary services. Prior to joining St. Elizabeth in January, 2009, Banks had a number of roles at Humana and Anthem BCBS; most recently serving as the VP, Network Operations for Humana of Ohio.

Banks holds a Master’s degree in Health Administration from Xavier University and a Masters in Applied Economics from the University of Cincinnati. He has served as a Medical Service Corps officer in the active duty Army and the Ohio National Guard.
